DAY 1 – Transatlantic Flight to Tel Aviv
Today we depart New York City for Tel Aviv, Israel. Meals served in flight.
DAY 2 – Arrive in Israel
We’ll arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv and drive to our hotel for check-in, a welcome dinner with David and Barbara, and a good night’s sleep.
DAY 3 – Tiberius / Old Jaffa / Caesarea by the Sea / Mount Carmel / Megiddo / Nazareth
T
oday our motor coach takes us to the old city of Jaffa and the top of Mount Carmel, where Elijah prayed down fire from Heaven and defeated the prophets of Baal. At Caesarea by the Sea on the beautiful Mediterranean coastline, we’ll see where Cornelius and his household were saved and where Paul made his defense to Festus and Agrippa. Then we’ll visit the Mount of Precipice in Nazareth, where an angry mob tried to throw Jesus off its cliff. Our final stop of the day will be Megiddo, scene of the climactic End-Times battle of Armageddon. We’ll spend the night in Tiberius.
DAY 4 – Chorizim / Caesarea Philippi / Golan Heights
At Chorizim, overlooking the Sea of Galilee, we’ll visit one of the areas where Jesus performed mighty miracles but faced unbelief and rejection. At Caesarea Philippi, we’ll see the place of Peter’s great confession that Jesus is the Christ (Matthew 16:13–18). Before returning to our hotel, we will visit the Golan Heights, an area of tremendous strategic importance to the security of modern-day Israel.
DAY 5 – Capernaum / Sea of Galilee / Mount of Beatitudes / Fish Lunch / Boat Ride / Jordan River
A
fter enjoying an Israeli breakfast, we’ll take a cruise on the Sea of Galilee and hear David share a teaching from God’s Word. After visiting the Mount of Beatitudes, we’ll enjoy a wonderful fish lunch at Kibbutz Ein Gev. This thrilling day concludes with a stop at the Jordan River for a time of prayer and spiritual refreshing, and Partners will be given an opportunity to be baptized. We’ll spend the night in Jerusalem.
DAY 6 – Western Wall / Garden Tomb / Gordon’s Calvary / Mount of Olives / Palm Sunday Road / Garden of Gethsemane
Today we’ll see the Temple Mount and pray at the Western Wall. At Gordon’s Calvary and the Garden Tomb, we’ll take Communion and stop to remember our Savior’s agony on the Cross and glorious Resurrection. Standing atop the Mount of Olives, we’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the “Golden City” of Jerusalem. We’ll conclude the day with a walk down Palm Sunday Road and a time of prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane.
DAY 7 - Qumran / Masada / En Gedi / Dead Sea
Today we’re in the Judean wildern
ess as we journey to Qumran, home of the Essenes and site of the Dead Sea Scroll discovery. From there we go to Masada, the spectacular mountaintop fortress built by Herod. We’ll ride the cable car to the top of this final stronghold during the Jewish rebellion against the Romans. Before returning to our hotel in Jerusalem, we’ll stop at En Gedi and visit the Dead Sea to feel the saltiest water on earth.
DAY 8 – Mount Zion / Upper Room / Museums / King David’s Citadel
This will be an inspirational day of visiting important Biblical sites and museums in Jerusalem. We’ll end the day with a time of anointed worship at King David’s Citadel.
DAY 9 – Depart for Home
You’ll arrive back in the USA with memories to cherish for a lifetime.
